Lecture by Katherine Faull, Bucknell University

In Moravian history, we know about the accomplishments of the men but what about the work of their wives? What role did the wives of Moravian leaders play and how did their work shape the church?

Katherine Faull is Presidential Professor of German and Humanities at Bucknell University. Her most recent book, Speaking to Body and Soul: Instructions for the Moravian Choir Helpers, 1785-1786 was published by Penn State Press in 2017. She is currently writing a biography of Anna Nitschmann.
