THIS MONTH IN MORAVIAN HISTORY: bethabara 1753
A group of fifteen single men walked from Bethlehem, Pa., to North Carolina, to start the new Moravian settlement of Bethabara. An account book from 1753 gives insight in the tools, food, and other items they brought along.
