Timeline: 550 years of Moravian History
For the 550th anniversary of the Moravian Church the Moravian Archives developed a ten-panel timeline tracing the history of the Moravian Church from its origins to the present. Beginning with the martyrdom of John Hus in 1415, the timeline explains the development of the early church (or Unitas Fratrum), its renewal in Herrnhut in 1727, the worldwide mission of the church, its spread to America, and 19th and 20th century developments. Churches can order the timeline panels by contacting the Archives.
